Vina Olagosa Rioja Gran Reserva 2011: ruby colour with light garnet edges. Intense and complex bouquet resulting from the long ageing. Aromas of vanilla and fine reduction (tobacco and fine leather) with slight notes of liquer chocolates.
Harmonious and full body, polished tannins, and a long finish.
An ideal wine to drink on its own, as well as a wonderful match to stews, pasta, mushrooms dishes, meat poulrty and cheese.
NEW VINTAGE: Manual harvest in small boxes for Vina Olagosa Rioja Gran Reserva. Grapes sorted in the Bodegas premises through advanced selection technology. Both alchoolic and manolactic fermentation take place in 6500 liters French oak vats.
Aged in Bordeaux-style, 225 litres barrels, for 24-28 months, combining both French new barrels with similar oak barrels from Eastern Europe. Bottle aged for at leasdt 18 month.

Our vineyard emblem, The Olagosa, which gives name to our aged wines, is the logistical center of our strategy, very convenientily located in San Asensio, center of the Rioja Alta.

The American wine critic James Suckling, considered by Forbes magazine as one of the most influential wine critics in the world, has just released the scores of Spanish wines tasted during the year 2018, elaborating a list with more than 2.500 references, among which Bodegas Perica is present with more than 90 points.
So, our David Perica has been scored with 93 points, a wine “nicely focused red plums and blueberries on the nose. Sappy, succulent and juicy palate with plenty of lively tannins and bright, fleshy black cherries and plums.Tangy, energetic finish”, as James Suckling has described in his report.
Perica Oro has scored 92 points and according to him it is a wine “concentrated, mature-berry character, generous tannins and a discreet hint of sweetness that make this an appealing wine with along, fresh finish.”
In addition, both the Perica Viña Olagosa crianza and the Perica Viña Olagosa reserva have been rated with 90 points.
