Salmon pink shades revealing short skin contact to extract just enough strawberry flavours and blossom scents, but finishing powerful and crisp.
Fine lees aromas, crystallised fruit, elegant palate, fine persistent mousse. A Rosé Champagne that manages to combine strawberry sweetness with a long fresh aftertaste.
Food Match: Champagne Rose Brut can be enjoyed on its own or with most foods, any time!
Great on its own or if you fancy food try with smoked salmon starters, or best of all chocolate fondant pudding and ice cream!
A. Bergère
This glamorous family-run champagne house sits on one of the richest streets in the world, the Avenue de Champagne in Épernay.
André and Brigitte, together with their children Annaëlle and Adrien, make clean and light champagnes favouring chardonnay grapes from Grand Cru villages on the Cote de Blancs, including Avize. While father and son are generally found out among the vines, mother and daughter concentrate on nurturing the brand.
The wealth of the three champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay (50%), Pinot Noir (30%) and Pinot Meunier (20%) is used wisely to create reference wines. Each bottle of the range A. BERGERE reflects the purest expression of the wine and its original soil and is respectful of the local tradition. Whatever the crop years, quality is the watchword of the house and reflects the spirit.
