Delivery & Returns
Wine bottles are heavy and fragile and need to be packaged in robust boxes. We strive to keep our wines fairly priced and delivery charges are put in place to simply cover our costs.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver throughout the United Kingdom, and delivery charges for these destinations are enabled at the checkout. Alternatively, you can collect orders from our shop in Chester for free, and there is no minimum order, just select Local Pick Up in the shopping cart.
When will my order be delivered?
For the Chester and surrounding areas (Please see postcode list below) delivery can be done by next day at the latest, quite often it is same day!
If processed by couriers, orders should be delivered next day when all products are in our shop. Unless we advise you otherwise your order will be with you within 3-5 working days . Delivery will take place on Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:30pm. A Saturday delivery is possible for an additional surcharge. What happens if I am not there to accept the delivery?
If you are not going to be there to receive the delivery of your wine, do not worry. You can either designate a safe place for the delivery in the “Special Delivery Instructions” section of the checkout (for example: leave at back of the house or leave with neighbour) or our courier will leave a card so that you can contact them and rearrange delivery at a more convenient time. Please note if you choose to have your order left with a neighbour or put outside your premises and not signed for, we cannot hold any responsibility for loss whatsoever.

Mainland UK – £10 per order values up to £160
Mainland UK – Free for orders over £160
Scottish Highlands and Islands- £20.000 per order values between up to £250

Isle of Wight – up to 6 Bottles £15 via UPS Standard – up to 12 Bottles £20 via UPS Standard

What happens if any of my wines are damaged?
For goods damaged during delivery we will offer the customer a replacement or refund. Please notify us immediately either by phone on 01244 581522 or at email@example.com. We can either arrange for the damaged wine to be collected and provide replacements or we can refund you for the value of the breakages, depending on your preference.
If a wine is found to be corked or faulty, we will be happy to offer a replacement or refund provided you contact us immediately either by phone on 01244 581522 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may be required to return the unfinished bottle for inspection, with cost of shipping the wine back to us refundable when the wine is assessed as faulty.
